CHORBA HILDA (KELLY) Hilda K. Chorba, age 101, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, died on September 10, 2015, at Sunnyside Nursing Home in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on December 27, 1913, in Homestead, PA, the daughter of William and Clara Kelly. She and her sisters, Elizabeth, Janet and Olive, were raised by their aunt and uncle, Thomas and Sophia Kelly. In 1935, she married George Edward Chorba and spent 54 years together in Baldwin Township and later in retirement in Clearwater, FL. She was a founder and Charter Member of the Whitehall United Presbyterian Church, was active in her church and bridge circles, and was a Cub Scout Den Mother there. She was a member of Eastern Star and Rainbow Girls. For many years, she served as the volunteer manager for the South Side Hospital's gift shop. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Carole Anne, her husband and her sisters. She is survived by her sons, the Reverend George and wife, Merle, Tom and wife, Celeste, and Carl and wife, Carole; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her dearly loved nieces and nephews and all of their children. They were a constant source of joy to her throughout her lifetime. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the time of Service at 11 a.m. in Whitehall Presbyterian Church, 4935 E. Willock Rd., Pittsburgh, PA.
